Abstract

The term elite was used in social and political studies in the 1930s, and Vilfredo Pareto described it as (a group of people - a class - that possesses certain abilities that distinguish it from other people in a field of human activity). The phenomenon of elite is one of the most important topics that political science students are interested in, and by studying it we learn about the role of elites and their connection to political and social phenomena because elites in society are the ones who take decisions that influence the policy of that society and have power and influence that exceeds the scope of any other group in society as a whole.
