Abstract

Theoretical Approaches in Literary Criticism and Their Issues in the Poetry of Hudbah ibn al-Khushram al-Udhri (d. circa 57 AH)

This study aims to examine the literary critical movement surrounding the poetry of Hudbah ibn al-Khushram al-Udhri and the key issues actively present within it, such as poetic traditionalism, natural talent versus affectation, and poetic creativity, among others. These themes have played a fundamental role in shaping the architectural structure of his poetic discourse. The research seeks to analyze their manifestations within the poetic compositional framework through an interpretative approach.
